Before joining MacLean Law, Nicholas Davies was a lawyer in Whistler, British Columbia where he practiced for 22 years.
Before his legal career, Nick spent many years working in the offshore oil industry in the Canadian Arctic, and has served with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Coast Guard. Nick attended school at Simon Fraser University studying business and economics and then transferred to the University of Western Ontario to complete a law degree.
Nick joined the British Columbia Bar in 1985. He began his legal career as a solicitor in the city of Vancouver and gradually shifted to a litigation practice. Nick opened a law practice in Whistler in 1991 in order to continue his passion for skiing and the great outdoors.
Nick has 28 years of experience in Wills and Estate Law, Real Property, Wills Variance, Family Law, and Corporate/Commercial transactions and litigation.
He is an experienced Wills and Estate lawyer familiar with the most current changes to the BC Wills Estate and Succession Act and is able to assist clients with:

Nick served two terms as a Municipal Councillor for the Resort Municipality of Whistler. He has chaired or been a member of many community task forces and committees and is an active Rotarian, serving as President of his Rotary Club.
A former Whistler Mountain ski patroller, Nick is a boxer, an airplane pilot, a glider pilot and a photographer.
